WHO WE ARE
The American Legion comprises current, separated, and retired United States Armed Forces members who have served Honorably. Our members continue to serve our community by volunteering their time and energy to raise money for charitable giving, promote patriotism, and honor those who came before us.
Our Mission
To enhance the well-being of America's veterans, their families, our military, and our communities through our devotion to mutual helpfulness. The American Legion's vision statement is "The American Legion: Veterans Strengthening America." The American Legion's value principles are as follows:

JROTC SCHOLARSHIPS
Marengo American Legion provides yearly scholarships to young men and women seeking higher education who have demonstrated the values of service and patriotism.
VETERAN OUTREACH
Marengo American Legion is dedicated to putting our Marengo, Ohio, Veterans first. Our Community Outreach program provides a much-needed service for those in dire need. Lend a helping hand and join our efforts today.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP
We strive to partner with the community to bring a sense of pride in belonging and relief to those in need. We do this through community giving programs and making our hall available to community members to meet together.
