A Tradition of Service
Since 1946
American Legion Post 710 has proudly served Marengo and the surrounding communities for more than 75 years. Our members are veterans who continue to give back through volunteer work, community programs, and support for fellow service members.
At Post 710, service doesn’t end when military duty does. It continues right here at home.
Our members help support local youth programs, provide scholarships, host community events, and ensure the sacrifices of our veterans are never forgotten.
What We Do
Supporting Veterans and Our Community
We work to assist veterans in our area, providing resources, outreach, and a place where those who served can connect and support one another.
Our hall hosts events throughout the year that bring the community together and raise funds for local causes.
Each year, Post 710 helps recognize and support students who demonstrate leadership, patriotism, and service through scholarship opportunities.
We proudly honor the men and women who served by participating in memorial events and community ceremonies.
Membership
Join American Legion Post 710
Membership is open to honorably discharged U.S. military veterans. Annual membership dues are $30.
The Sons of the American Legion is also available for male descendants of veterans who served our country.
